Around 100 birds of this species are around Cappel-Neufeld area. The fillet there allows for nice positioning of tripod with camera. However, no close-ups possible there, so one would need good amount of focal length for some shootings.
Used the D500 with the Nikkor 500f4 and TC-14 mounted on the Berlebach Uni-16 with Wimberley WH-200 for all shots.

It was actually supposed to be the Komet 12P/Pons-Brooks. But the clouds put a spanner in the works. The sky over Neuwerk, on the other hand, was largely clear.
