I did several attempts to shoot another time at Obereversand while having sunset, but either time didn’t permit or the weather was turning so that the scenery didn’t look as I was expecting. Yesterday it worked quite well. I spent 2h there shooting several scenes.

Although the evening was quite nice I prefer to go there in winter time as the tourists will be gone which is much more quiet and people do not walk across in front of the lens.

Obereversand

First one was done when the sun was still up using a polarizer and a 10-Stop ND filter resulting in a 6 second shutter speed at f9 with the Zeiss 25mm. The yellow-ish colouring behind the lighthouse was showing like this in reality.

Another shot at about the same time using the Voigtländer 90mm APO Lanthar. I start loving this lens. Small, light and very nice to focus. The pictures from that lens are stunning.

Again using the Zeiss 25mm but this time combining the polarizer with the 10-Stop ND plus a 3-Stop ND resulting in 30 seconds shutter speed at f10. Still around 40 minutes until sunset. The 30 seconds blur the clouds but unfortunately not all the people on the lighthouse.

Finally I switched to the polarizer and 3-Stop only when the sun was down as a 10-Stop would have been too much for the already dark scenery. This resulted in 4 seconds shutter speed at f11.

A last one using the same filters but this time I had the Zeiss 35mm mounted to the camera. The picture was taken 10 minutes after the last one shwoing above. The shutter speed went down from 4 seconds to 8 seconds at f11 smoothing the water a bit more but also blurring the gras in the foreground.
