Very good weather when starting from Látrabjarg towards Heydalur in the northern part of the Westfjords. We take the route at the western coast via Dynjandi waterfall and Ísafjörður.

Terrific panoramic views nearly throughout the whole drive.

After 2 hours we reach the Dynjandi. Heard that it is not that crowded as other places but that seemed to be wrong or I haven’t seen the true crowded places yet. But anyway a great attraction seeing this waterfall.

When we drive further down the route, the Dynjandi can be seen from the opposite side of the fjord. Unfortunately the place is in the shadows so not as brillant.

Further on to Ísafjörður we pass one of the many lupin fields. These bushes where brought to Iceland to stop the erosion and prepare the land for other plants.

Last stop is Ísafjörður, with 2500 people living here the biggest town in the Westfjords.
