Starting the new year with some old friends at the feeder place… All shots taken with Nikon D3 using Tamron 150-600 mounted on Berlebach UNI-16 with Wimberley WH200.

A few crane pictures from the polder Bramel. Heavy cloud cover and relatively large distance are reflected in the poor quality of the pictures. The pictures were taken with the Nikon D500 on the Nikkor 500/f5.6 and the TC-14.
I haven’t seen any snow buntings yet this early morning, but I have seen larger colonies of sandpipers on rising water.
The waxwings were unfortunately not to be seen today in the early morning, but a few other native species. The latter could also be a song thrush, I’m not so sure.
